Johnson, Obermueller make State Open cut
Former River Falls High School golfers Tyler Obermueller and Neil Johnson both survived the cut after the first two rounds of the Wisconsin State Open at Meadow Valleys Course at Blackwolf Run in Kohler. Obermueller finished his first two rounds at 6-over-par 150, tied for 29th place, while Johnson finished right at the cut line at 9-over-par 153, tied for 46th.By Bob Burrows , August 17, 2011

Hudson, River Falls advance to WIAA golf sectional
Hudson took first at the WIAA Division 1 golf regional on its home course Tuesday and River Falls finished second to earn the top two qualifying spots for next week’s sectional tournament in Wausau.
