The Town of River Falls Parks & Recreation Committee will meet on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 6:30 P.M. at the River Falls Town Hall. Items on the agenda will include: Minutes, Treasurer’s report; Public comments; Rocky Branch Park trail maintenance/development; Hillwood Park plant identification; South Valley Park mowing; Highway 65 roundabout trail crossing; FTD wood chips for trails; Halverson Park picnic table/benches; Reports.

First turkey
Ten-year-old Mason Peterson shot his very first turkey while hunting in the town of River Falls April 12. The turkey weighed in at 20 pounds and featured a 9-inch beard. Mason is the son of Traci and Keith Peterson of River Falls.
