Becker takes second at state diving
River Falls senior Sierra Becker placed second in diving at the WIAA Division 2 girls swimming and diving state meet Friday night at the UW Natatorium in Madison.
Becker finished with a score of 388.20 to finish as state runner-up for the second straight year.

River Falls swept the top three spots in diving and the Wildcat swimmers earned seven trips to the awards podium on their way to their second straight runner-up finish at the WIAA Swimming and Diving Sectional competition last weekend, Nov. 4-7.

River Falls swimmers competed in five events at state Friday night,edging out conference rival Rice Lake in the point totals. Earlier Friday, Thomas Wildcat sophomore 'T.J.' Baldini scored 279.8 points to finish 10th among 16 divers in the Division 2 diving championships at the UW-Madison Natatorium.

The Wildcat boys swimming and diving team will be represented in seven events at Friday’s WIAA State Championship Meet after placing second at last Saturday’s sectional in Stevens Point, while 11 Wildcat wrestlers advanced to this weekend’s sectional tournament.
