On Saturday, June 12, and Sunday, June 13, St. Croix County will host a Park Appreciation Weekend for park users. This entitles everyone to free entrance fees on those two days at the county’s day-use parks, including at Glen Hills Park, Homestead Parklands on Perch Lake, and Troy Beach.

State swimmer
River Falls Swim Club swimmer Ben Heiniger took part in the USA Swimming State Meet March 12, where he finished 22nd out of 48 competitors in the 11-12 year-old boys’ 50 freestyle. Pomfret sets new school mark at state
Wildcat senior Roland Pomfret wrapped up his high school swimming career in style by setting a new River Falls school record in the grueling 500 yard freestyle on his way to an eighth place finish at the WIAA Division 2 State Swimming and Diving Championships Friday night in Madison.
