Johnson loses State Open in playoff 
Neil Johnson of River Falls lost to amateur Dan Woltman of Beaver Dam on the second hole of a sudden death playoff to finish second at the Wisconsin State Open at Blackwolf Run in Kohler Wednesday.
Tyler Obermueller of River Falls finished in a tie for seventh place while former Wildcat teammate Andy Rauscher tied for 50th.

Former Wildcats Johnson, Obermueller atop State Open leader board 
Neil Johnson has a four-stroke lead over fellow River Falls’ native Tyler Obermueller after the first two rounds of the Wisconsin State Open at Blackwolf Run in Kohler.
Johnson posted a pair of birdies and an eagle Tuesday en route to a 2-under-par 70 that moved him to 7-under (137) for the tournament.
