Bowen to retire as UW-RF athletic director

Bowen to retire as UW-RF athletic director UW-River Falls athletic director Rick Bowen announced Wednesday he will retire at the end of the 2009-10 school year. His last day will be June 21. Bowen, 65, made the announcement at an athletic department meeting. Bowen has been a key component of UW-RF athletics for more than 20 years as a coach and administrator.
