Group suspects nuclear contamination could affect water
Wisconsin NewsEnvironmentalists are announcing new research which shows that nuclear power plants are putting drinking water at risk. Environment Minnesota and the Gopher State’s Public Interest Research Group say water and food supplies within 50 miles of an active nuclear plant can be contaminated if there’s a leak or an accident.
