Man sentenced for accident that killed a baby
Wisconsin NewsA Wausau man has been sentenced to 3 ½ years in prison for killing a six-week-old baby girl when he crashed into an an Amish buggy in Marshfield. During a pre-sentence investigation, 50-year-old Brian Witkus admitted inhaling dust remover from an aerosol can shortly before he caused the crash that killed young Ada Miller of Chili a year ago.

Nearly 700 riders from Wisconsin and Minnesota took part in the third annual Border Battle Bike Races Sunday, Aug. 8 at Whitetail Ridge Corporate Park, and thanks to a number of River Falls participants, Wisconsin retained bragging rights and the traveling trophy that goes to the winning state.
