Planters from the local community garden Grow to Share, located in the east part of Hoffman Park, say the 2013 growing season holds many new and exciting things they’d like to share at a spring informational meeting 6 p.m. April 3, in the lower level of the River Falls Public Library, 140 Union St.
The St Croix Valley Master Gardeners are hosting Garden U on Saturday, March 16, at Ready Randy’s Conference Center in New Richmond. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. and the $30 fee includes lunch and speaker handouts.
The highlight of the Hudson Home and Garden Club’s December meeting will be a visit from Rebecca Kolls. She will speak on the topic of bee-keeping at the Tuesday, Dec. 4 meeting beginning at 1 p.m. at the Phipps Center for the Arts. The meeting is free and open to the public.
