River Falls police bust pair in meth sting
Two people were arrested and jailed Monday, Feb. 6, at Cudd’s trailer court, 1450 S. Wasson Lane, for allegedly making a deal to sell methamphetamine. Both were charged by the Pierce County district attorney with delivery of meth felonies. The two are a pregnant 28-year-old city of River Falls woman and a 27-year-old city of River Falls man wanted for a felony drug possession warrant in Isanti County, Minn.

Teen dragged by her older ex-boyfriend; he just wanted to talk
River Falls police arrested and jailed a 21-year-old local man Saturday morning, Feb. 4, for false imprisonment and disorderly conduct at Cudd’s trailer court, 1450 S. Wasson Lane. The man was trying to force his 16-year-old girlfriend, who had recently broken up with him, into his car. He allegedly picked up her and put her over his shoulder to carry her.

K of C Bowling Tournament
On Jan. 21 the Knights of Columbus sponsored a bowling tournament for young bowlers at St. Croix Lanes in River Falls. Josh Amundsen took first place overall with a 719 series and received a plaque with his name on it displayed there.

Artists recall gallery era, re-unite for show

Pancake supper Feb. 13 will benefit homeless
Monday, Feb. 13, St. Bridget Catholic Church will host a pancake supper to benefit the River Falls’ homeless. Supper will served from 4-7 p.m. in the church dining hall. Menu includes pancakes, eggs, ham, fresh fruit, coffee and milk. A donation is requested.
