Missing Kinni tubers found by MSP helicopter early Monday 
A pair of St. Paul men who apparently got waylaid on the tubing trip down the Kinnickinnic River late Sunday, were found by a Minnesota State Patrol helicopter early Monday and led to safety by park rangers.

Town of Kinnickinnic: Bidding change and new road discussed 
Town Engineer Dave Simons, representing the Road Committee, presented a guideline revision at last week’s Kinnickinnic Town Board meeting. The change addresses the open bidding process for road work. The guideline currently allows for acceptance of only one bid if no other bids are received.

Don't cut the trees! 
Kinnickinnic resident John Davis is one of many who oppose the town's plan to cut down several large trees along River Drive.
Last fall the town of Kinnickinnic Board unanimously passed a roadside maintenance law that includes establishing a “clear zone” of 12 feet from the side of the road.

The Kinnickinnic Health Foundation recently presented grant checks totaling more than $65,000 to the Pierce County Public Health Department’s school-based dental program and the Free Clinic of Pierce and St. Croix Counties.
