The River Falls Journal won’t surrender its hometown identity but a new name for the parent group means to tell the public it’s much more than 10 newspapers operating under the former RiverTown Newspaper Group identity. “We’re rebranding as RiverTown Multimedia to reflect the changes of our industry,” Division Director/Publisher Steve Messick said.

A new exhibit, “The Frugal Zoo & Others, Too,” opened on Saturday, June 2 at the River Falls Public Library. The show features the stainless steel and mosaic sculptures of artist, Dale Lewis, pictured above with “Monster Dog,” as well as a wide variety of work by members of the Hastings-Prescott Area Arts Council (HPAAC).
