Dozens of River Falls businesses will set up displays, exhibits and bowls of Halloween candy at the 4th annual Business Expo hosted by the Chamber of Commerce from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the high school, 818 Cemetery Road. Parking and admission are free.

The Spring Valley Dam Days was the next to last stop on the 2012 parade tour for the Zor Roadrunners Precision Go Kart team. Under the direction of Capt. Jerry Wilkens of River Falls the team performed at numerous parades this summer. Their last appearance of the year will be the River Falls Homecoming and Shriners parade on Saturday, Sept. 29.

The St. Croix Valley Collectors Association will hold their 27th annual Threshing Bee and Barn Dance on Saturday, Aug. 18 and Sunday, Aug. 19 at the Village Park in Roberts. An Antique and Garden Tractor Pull will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Trigger Happy will perform at 7 p.m. On Sunday, threshing events will start at 10 a.m. with a parade at 2 p.m. Refreshments will be supplied by the Roberts Lions Club.
