A manager and the employee he fired ended up in combat outside Copper Kettle restaurant, 1005 S. Main St., after 6 p.m. Saturday, April 13. After the fighting was done, the manager’s pickup truck had been vandalized by the fired employee. Both men were given municipal citations for their actions.

Honor students held the 2nd annual Mr. RFHS Pageant March 21 and say the event raised a total of $1,437 that will be donated to the River Falls-based emergency shelter Our Neighbors’ Place. For the second year in a row, eight young men vied for the titles of Mr. RFHS, 1st runner up, Mr. Popularity and Mr. Congeniality.
