The ninth annual Potluck Barn Party will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Williams Barn, 263 Liberty Road. The free event will feature the annual apple pie baking contest. Proceeds that are raised from the sale of the apple pies and voluntary free will donations will benefit Bethesda Lutheran Communities, Inc.

Approximately 400 attended a benefit for Jeff Kay on Aug. 26 at the River Falls Legion. Above are some of the volunteers who helped with the event. Everyone was invited to enjoy pie and cake and ice cream, to hear live music from the church’s antique pump organ and local musicians, and to share the company and conversation of friends and neighbors.
