River Falls police caught and arrested a 20-year-old Zimmerman, Minn., man after 2 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at the downtown Holiday store for possession of a firearms facsimile, drug paraphernalia and marijuana, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. The man was allegedly involved in an altercation in the 200 block of East Elm Street where he pointed a handgun at people before running off.

Following up on a woman's harassment complaint led River Falls police to jail a 39-year-old local man for possession of marijuana and methamphetamine, plus recover a raft of stolen items that allegedly came from City Hall, the public library and the River Falls Medical Clinic. The man, taken into custody at his South Wasson Lane address last Thursday, Nov. 22, may have committed thefts at those places while working for a cleaning company.
