Update: Walker sweeps greater River Falls area in recall election returns, but city goes for Barrett
June 5 recall election returns for rural River Falls gave a huge boost for Gov. Scott Walker. He swept all the surrounding towns -- Troy, Kinnickinnic, Clifton, Martell, River Falls and Pleasant Valley. Walker, who easily won the recall vote statewide, was defeated by Democratic challenger Tom Barrett only in the city of River Falls.
