UWRF student garden planned
UW-River Falls will be getting a student garden courtesy of student organization SALSA — Student Alliance for Local and Sustainable Agriculture. The vegetable garden will be entirely student-run and is scheduled to begin production in spring of 2013.

After being ranked fourth in the world in 1999 by the National Reining Horse Association, she donated over $500,000 to the university’s horse science program, making possible a much needed new colt barn at Lab Farm #1 on Wasson Lane.
