The River Falls Wildcat U13C3 girls’ soccer team went undefeated with a record of 6-0, outscoring its opponents 34-5, to qualify for the Minnesota Youth Soccer Fall State Tournament in Rochester next week. UW-RF volleyball to host “Dig for the Cure”
The UW River Falls volleyball team will host a Dig for the Cure volleyball match on Wednesday, Oct. 12, when the Falcons take on the UW-Stout Blue Devils at 7 p.m. at Karges Center. This season marks the fourth straight year that the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) volleyball teams are hosting fundraisers for breast cancer awareness in October.

Preliminary vote count shows upset in the River Falls mayoral race; Dan Toland is very excited
Unofficial vote totals from the Tuesday, April 3, spring election show that four-term incumbent Don Richards was upset by challenger Dan Toland for the River Falls mayor job. The tally was Toland 935 votes, Richards 921. Yet to be counted: 22 absentee ballots that have not been returned. If they are postmarked no later than April 3 and received by 4 p.m. Friday, April 6, they will be added to the city vote totals.
