Both institutions are recognized as among the finest in their respective countries for quality and strength of programming in Dairy Science and related fields.

Someone got inside Dairy Queen on South Main Street between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning and made off with cash. As of Tuesday, Oct. 9, the case is still under police investigation. No one has been caught or arrested.

While not considered armed and dangerous, police officers had their hands full for two hours Sunday afternoon, Nov. 11, after two stray cows were spotted at DeSanctis Park. The heifer and calf apparently came from the Paul Haskins farm just west of the city. When officers got to the park, the cow suspects had hoofed on.
