Benefit a success
Approximately 400 attended a benefit for Jeff Kay on Aug. 26 at the River Falls Legion. Above are some of the volunteers who helped with the event. The seventh annual Nepali Scholarship Benefit will be held from 4-10 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, at the Glen Park Shelter. On Sunday afternoon on Feb. 10, River Falls Church Choirs and the Community Choir will present the tenth annual “It Takes a Village” concert to benefit students and teachers of the school in Ganthier, Haiti. The concert begins at 4 p.m. at Ezekiel Lutheran Church, with a dessert reception following. Each choir will present two numbers with Peter Dulak, choir director at Ellsworth High School, leading the 100-plus voices in two final songs.
