More than 160 students from five choral groups performed seasonal music for a large crowd at the Doris Fuka Auditorium

  • Some Chamber Choir members form a madrigal group tagged "Costume Carolers" during the holiday seasion and perform at local festivals, care centers, the Mall of America and the annual holiday concert. Members Grant Humphrey and Amanda Grove exit the stage while singing "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen".
  • Three members of the 'Carolers' showed a little personality while singing 'Jingle Bells' from the risers. From bottom to top are Tim Ballard, Ike Ballard and Lucas Henk.

  • By the conclusion of 'Carol of the Bells', all Caroler members are on stage. This year's group includes Jessica Ferruzza, Emily Gabriel, Emily Gjerde, Amanda Grove, Taylor Kittleson, Julia Langlois, Natalie Nelson, Stephanie Peterson, Lindsey Squire, Ike Ballard, Tim Ballard, Brian Dyke, Joseph Fuller, Ben Gabriel, Lucas Henk, Grant Humphrey and Carl Tiede.
  • Director Carrie Loney invited audience members to join in the third (German) and fourth (English) verses of 'Peace, Peace' -- which culiminates with the familiar carol, Silent Night.
  • Members of the all-girl Symphonic Treble Choir donned Santa hats and reindeer antlers to add little levity to the jazzy Christmas tune.
  • SMC members performed 'Lullay, My Liking", Silver Bells and an African-themed carol, "Betelehemu" under the direction of Loney with accompaniment by Dennis Alfveby.
