  • Sandi Millar and the Flatpicking All-Stars entertained the crowd during a brief intermission at the Upper Midwest Flatpicking Guitar Championships.
  • Local musician and flatpicking contest judge Chris Silver on mandolin with the All-Stars. Silver is one of the primary organizers of the event.
  • An appreciative and attentive audience nearly filled the available seats at the RiverView Hotel for the Upper Midwest Flatpicking Championships.
  • This quartet from Oshkosh, known as “Dead Horses”, corralled the corner of Main and Maple Streets and picked up some gas money for their return trip in the process.
  • "Dead Horses" of Oshkosh entertained many spectators at the corner of Maple and Main Streets on Saturday afternoon. Guitarist Tyler Shea, far right, competed earlier in the day at the Flatpicking contest, accompanied by Nick Shea, second from left.
  • Catrina Campbell, left, plays her fiddle while Cory May plays guitar on Main Street outside of the Dish and Spoon café Saturday afternoon. Cory competed in the Flatpicking guitar contest earlier. Both currently reside in Eagan, but Cory is originally from Kentucky, a state with a strong bluegrass music heritage. Dish and Spoon sponsored an open mic which attracted a number of musicians and packed the café and sidewalk outside with appreciative listeners.
