  • Elf Sally Dietzler helped kids and parents as they waited to see Santa, offering children lots of fun toys and distractions.
  • About 20 different businesses entered the chili-cooking competition and offered samples throughout the River Dazzle celebration. Nice weather enabled some merchants to greet chili tasters outside.
  • Kiwanis Key members sold hot chocolate and warm cider, along with other goodies from a vending trailer parked on Main Street. Left to right: Stephanie Raeltsler, Lynette Keilen, Christine Palmer, Katelyn Kackman and Fred Dietz (Hudson Kiwanis) helped River Dazzle visitors stay warm and said the sale proceeds would benefit St. Bridget's Catholic Church's Drive for Families.
  • Owner of Johnnie's Bar Dave Dintemann served chili to a steady line of chili tasters.
  • Large numbers of ducks and geese floated on the Kinnickinnic River near downtown during the Nov. 25 River Dazzle celebration.
