Veterans honored with Memorial Day activities in River Falls

Parade, program at Greenwood draws hundreds

  • Local veterans, the late Charles Kelly (Air Force) and Edmund 'Bud' Branigan (Army), were recognized by a reading of their biographies Monday. Family members, seated in a reserved area, received a round of applause from all those gathered for the Memorial Day service.
  • The River Falls Wildcat Marching Band processed from the Legion Hall on North Main and east on Division Street to Greenwood Cemetary.
