Doris M. Roeske, age 87, formerly of River Falls, passed away on March 6, 2010, in Seymour, Wis. Although Doris was experiencing increasing physical limitations, she still managed to keep her great sense of humor and optimism.
Doris was born on Nov. 15, 1922, in Minneapolis, to Irving and Ociel Allison.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William V. (Bill) Roeske; and by brother, Mike Allison.
She is survived by daughter, Sylvia (Don) Hoffman, Shiocton, Wis.; grandchildren, Jason Hoffman, Oakdale, Minn., and Sabrina (Kasey) Schwietzer, Shawano.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 12, at St. Anthony Park United Church of Christ, 2129 Commonwealth Ave., St. Paul. Visitation will be two hours before the funeral. Interment is at Oakland Cemetery, St. Paul.
