Christopher “Chris” David Cudd, age 34, of River Falls, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, at his home.
Christopher D. Cudd was born on Oct. 28, 1975, in River Falls, the son of David and Rebecca (Kusilek) Cudd. He was a 1994 graduate of River Falls High School, and married Amanda “Mandy” Brunkhorst on August 30, 1997, in Prescott, Wis.
Chris was an avid outdoorsman who especially loved to bow hunt. He was a type of guy who loved spending time with his friends and especially his family.
Chris will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Amanda “Mandy” Cudd, River Falls; daughter, Mikayla “Kayla” Cudd, River Falls; parents, David and Rebecca (Kusilek) Cudd, River Falls; brother, Nicholas (Melissa) Cudd, River Falls; maternal grandparents, LeRoy and Kathleen (Weischaar) Kusilek, River Falls; paternal grandparents, John and Dorothy (Gipford) Cudd, River Falls; one niece and two nephews, Peyton, Samuel and Gage; parents in-law, Daniel and Susan Brunkhorst, Prescott; brother in-law, Jacob (Jessie) Brunkhorst, River Falls. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends.
His great-grandparents, Raymond and Pearl Kusilek and Earl and Bess Weischaar, preceded him in death.
Funeral services for Chris will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 8, at Ezekiel Lutheran Church, River Falls.
Rev. Mark Hall will officiate. Burial of cremated remains will be in Greenwood Cemetery, River Falls. Visitation was at the church from 3-7 p.m. Sunday and for one hour prior to the service on Monday.
Urn bearers will be Chris’s brother, Nicholas Cudd, and brother in-law, Jacob Brunkhorst. Honorary urn bearers will be Gabe Most, Jared Schickling, Brian Seidling, Brandt Johnson, Mike Young and Jeff Olson.
Memorials are preferred to Rebecca and David Cudd.
