Loretta M. Most, 83, of Prescott, died Tuesday, July 17, at the Prescott Nursing and Rehab. Community.

Loretta was born on July 30, 1928, in River Falls, Wis., to Selmer and Ethel (Dumond) Peterson. She was a 1947 graduate of River Falls High School. On Aug. 31, 1948, she married George L. Most and moved to the Most family farm. After raising her family she worked at the Gift Tree in Hastings for 10 years.

Loretta liked being with family, especially grandchildren; friends; and golfing. She was an active member of the Prescott United Church of Christ.

Loretta is survived by her husband George, Prescott; children: Nancy (Bruce) Boeck, Waukesha, Wis.; Paul (Donna) Most, Prescott; David Most, Prescott; grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Sara Boeck, Milwaukee, Wis.; Amy (Guy) Stuller and their children, Lincoln and Nina, Milwaukee; Jill (Joel) Beskar and their children Andrew, Avery, and Annalise, New Richmond, Wis.; Patrick (Elyse) Most, Burnsville, Minn.; brother, David C. (JoAnne) Peterson, Mesa, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Selmer and Ethel Peterson; stepfather, George McKahan; and her sister, Geniveve Reazin.

Funeral services for Loretta will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, at the Prescott UCC, Prescott. Burial will be in the Pine Glen Cemetery, Prescott. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the church and for 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday.
