Florence Elaine (Cone) Hanson, age 93, of River Falls, Wis., died at her home on Tuesday, March 19.

Florence Elaine (Cone) Hanson, age 93, of River Falls, Wis., died at her home on Tuesday, March 19.
She was born on March 18, 1920, to Frank and Ada (Hurst) Cone, in rural River Falls. She married James Oliver Hanson on Dec. 22, 1938, in River Falls. She worked as a seamstress at Langwear until 1961.
Florence volunteered at the Lutheran Home for many years, where she made many friends. She was an active member at the Valley Baptist Church in Lakeland, Minn. Florence was a people person and loved little children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James "Ollie" Oliver; one brother and three sisters.
Florence is survived by her children, Darlene (John) Hanley of River Falls, Doreen Newstrand of South St. Paul, Minn., and Bonnie (Willard) Bennett of River Falls; grandchildren Susan (Jim) Nelson, Mark Hanley, Paul (Cassie) Hanley, Duane (Jill) Hanley, Kelly (Mike) Henry, Colleen (Harold) Watson, Dan (Connie) Bennett, Ron (Sherry Keller) Bennett, Debbie (Mark) Webster; 17 great-grandchildren; and many friends, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Florence will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, at Valley Baptist Church in Lakeland. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at the Cashman-Hill Funeral Home in River Falls, and for 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
Florence will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Darlene I remember when we were kids and I came to your house, your mom was always so nice to be around.
