Molly Crumley, 48

Died Dec. 27, 2012

Molly Ann Crumley, age 48, of River Falls, died unexpectedly Thursday, Dec. 27, in Hudson.

Molly was born on Aug. 14, 1964, in St. Paul, Minn., the daughter of Richard Thomas and Margaret Therese (Noonan) Kennealy. She was raised in Eagan where she attended school prior to the Kennealy's moving to River Falls where she graduated from high school. She furthered her education at the College of Saint Benedict in Collegeville, Minn., where she received her bachelor's degree in interior design. She worked a number of years in sales for Schneiderman's in Woodbury as an interior decorator. In 1994, she was married to John Crumley, to which daughters Clare and Katie were blessed. This union would later dissolve.

Molly loved decorating. She had an amazing eye for color and putting things to life with some zest. She, like her mom, was quite fond of floral gardens but held a special place in her heart for lilacs. She loved the outdoors, whether bicycling, traveling, or tubing down the Kinnickinnic River. She enjoyed helping others and was a proud supporter of the Democratic Party.

Molly will forever remain in the hearts of her cherished daughters, Clare and Katie; brother, Paul (Kim) Kennealy, and their children, Devin and Morgan; former husband, John (Robin Relander) Crumley; her aunt, Helen (Herb) Adelman; brothers/sisters-in-law Julie (Kevin) Kipla, Christy (Pat) Smith, and David Crumley.

She joins her parents, Peggy and Dick; parents-in-law, James and Suzanne Crumley; and sister-in-law Carolyn Crumley in the Heavens.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, Dec. 31, at St. Bridget Catholic Church in River Falls. Visitation was 1 hour prior to the Mass at St. Bridget's. Burial will be in the parish cemetery with her parents. Memorials are preferred.

Funeral services entrusted to the O'Connell Family Funeral Homes.

About six years ago while building our home in Prescott with my husband, I went into Schneiderman's in Woodbury for new bedroom and living room furniture. Molly was happy to help and we enjoyed chatting many times until the furniture came as I was a longtime resident of the RF area. She also followed up to make sure all was working well. Molly was wonderful and I was just devastated to hear this tragic news. Molly will be missed by many. May she rest in peace.
