Gwen Marie Nelson, 56, died on Dec. 14 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minn.
Gwen Marie Nelson, 56, died on Dec. 14 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minn. Gwen was the daughter of now-deceased parents Emil H. and Mary A. Nelson of River Falls, Wis.
Gwen graduated from River Falls High School and from UW - Eau Claire, Wis. She worked at ProAct Inc. in St Paul.
She loved camping, writing about life's experiences, attending her flower gardens, and especially spending time with family and her cats, Moli and Boo.
Gwen was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Dennis (Mary) and Roland (Barb).
She is survived by two sisters, Joan (Dave) Fish and Valeria (Norman) Pakes, and a brother, Quentin (Diane) Nelson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at St. Bridget Catholic Church, with Father Gerald Harris officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be at St. Bridget Catholic Cemetery.
