Marlene "Micki" Nadine Miller Haushalter LaMotte, 81, Neenah, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 25.
Marlene "Micki" Nadine Miller Haushalter LaMotte, 81, Neenah, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 25.
She was born June 26, 1931, in St. Paul, Minn., daughter of Carl and Agnes Redman. Marlene was united in marriage to Homer LaMotte.
Micki was an avid golfer in her life. She loved to play card and board games with her friends, children, and grandchildren. She was also an enthusiastic fan of sports, particularly the Olympics.
Marlene is survived by her children: Alan Miller (Richard Labell), Bruce; Jacquelynn "Jacki" Miller, Neenah; Janet (Mike) Fowler, Appleton; Carla Miller, Neenah; Wayne Haushalter Jr., Menasha; Philip "Phil" Haushalter, Neenah; Bob (Sarah) Haushalter, Carthage, Mo.; her beloved grandchildren, Zachary "Zach" Roach, Sonya Haushalter, Blake Fowler, Anthony Haushalter, Summer Haushalter, Sinead Haushalter; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Patty, Margaret, Violet, Fritz, Howard, and Rudy; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Micki had a special bond with her niece Bernie Gregerson and sister-in-law Patty Heldt.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents; son Charles "Bucker" Miller; sister, Margaret Gibson; husbands, Donald Miller and Wayne Haushalter Sr.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Faith Community Church, 777 Carmichael Road, Hudson, Wis. In lieu of flowers, donations in Micki's name may be made to the Oshkosh Humane Society, 1925 Shelter Ct., Oshkosh, WI 54901, 920-424-2128.
The family wishes to thank Micki's neighbors, the Kruegers and the Krolls, for their loving care and support. The family also wishes to thank Theda Care Internal Medicine, Neenah, and staff, along with Kathy VanRavenstein APNP for their loving and tender care.
