Dennis Lee Torkelson, age 53, of River Falls, Wis., died on Saturday, Aug. 11, after courageously battling brain tumors.
Dennis was born Oct. 16, 1958, in Baldwin, Wis., to parents Lloyd and Marlys (Roen) Torkelson. Dennis attended school in Baldwin and graduated from Baldwin High School with the class of 1977. On July 20, 1985, Dennis was united in marriage to Kris Ann Bestul at the Peace Lutheran Church.
