Susan Diane (nee Johnson) Wang, age 59, of River Falls, died Sunday, May 20, at United Hospital in St. Paul, Minn.

Sue was born on July 27, 1952, in New Richmond, Wis., the daughter of Richard and Janice (Brathall) Johnson. She was a 1970 graduate of Hudson High School. She married Donald Krupa in August of 1970. They later divorced, and in 1989 she married Calvin Wang. Sue worked for the city of River Falls for 25 years.
She loved spending time with her grandkids, volunteering at the Free Clinic, and was passionate about helping people. Sue was a member of Ezekiel Lutheran Church.
Sue is survived by her three children: Melissa Cernohous, River Falls; Jennifer (Mike) Couch, Baldwin, Wis.; Jon Krupa, Madison, Wis.; grandchildren, Cami Couch, Kaylyn Hilden, Tyler Cernohous, Spencer Cernohous, Madison Couch, Conner Cernohous, and MacKenzie Couch; two great-grandchildren, Brena and Chase Dimler; two sisters, Karen Johnson and Kathy (Allen) Karlstad, all of River Falls; niece, Pamela Belisle, and nephew, Brent Lindner. Sue is further survived by her beloved dog Casey and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin, and her parents.
Services for Sue will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 24, at Ezekiel Lutheran Church, River Falls. Burial will be in the Kinnickinnic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Cashman-Hill Funeral Home, River Falls, and for 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
