Gregory Allen Huset, age 51, of River Falls, Wis., died Monday, March 12.

Greg was born on July 29, 1960, in Barron, Wis., the son of Otis and Harriet (Johnson) Huset. Greg, a.k.a. Bear, was a River Falls High School graduate. He married Sue Martin on July 28, 1990, at St. Bridget Catholic Church. He resided and raised his family in River Falls. He was the owner of All-Home Services, providing a contracting and remodeling service for residents in the surrounding area.

Greg was an avid golfer and enjoyed shooting pool with his friends. Family and friends meant everything to Greg.

There was never a kinder or gentler man than Greg. He lived his life by the Golden Rule, a lesson we should all embrace. Greg spoke these words at his father’s funeral: Cherish family, say “I love you,” enjoy people, be honest, live every day like it may be your last, pray often, love God, laugh loudly - sometimes until you cry, be optimistic, see beauty in everything and everyone.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Tom.

Greg is survived by his wife, Sue Martin; children, Emma and Alex; mother, Harriet; siblings, Nancy (John) Laird and Peg (Ignatius) Huset-Duros; mother and father-in-law, Elizabeth and Warren Martin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Diann Huset, Thomas (Eileen) Martin, Cynthia (Vaughn) Francis, and Laura McLaughlin; Aunt Mildred and K. C. Lowe; nieces and nephews, Nate, Mandy, Jason, Nicole, Stephanie, Jon, Anne Megan, Colin, Micahlyn, Kristi, Brienne, Brian, Karsten, and Roscoe.

A memorial mass for Greg will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at St. Bridget Catholic Church in River Falls with Father Gerald Harris officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church. There will be a reception immediately following the Mass.

Cashman-Hill Funeral Home is assisting the family. Please visit www.hillfuneralservice.com to leave an online condolence.
