Doris Adeline Ramberg, age 91, of River Falls, Wis., died Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Grace Healthcare in River Falls.
Doris Adeline Ramberg, age 91, of River Falls, Wis., died Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Grace Healthcare in River Falls.
Doris was born on Oct. 20, 1920, in Pleasant Valley Township to Oscar and Inga (North) Bakke. She graduated from Baldwin High School. She was married to Alfred Ramberg on Nov. 20, 1947. They had four children, Wayne, Brian, Bruce, and Diane.
Doris was a homemaker all her life and was a good standing member of Rush River Lutheran Church where she was baptized, confirmed, and married, along with her four children being baptized and confirmed at Rush River Lutheran Church. She was also an active member of the Rush River Lutheran Church Women's Guild.
Doris is survived by her sons, Wayne of River Falls, Brian (Joan), and Bruce (Luella), all of Hammond; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Marissa) Ramberg, Emily (Trinity) Johnson, Scott, Isaac, Linnea, Hannah, and Mya Ramberg, Matthew (Stephanie) Klein, and Patrice (Ryan) Illa; great-grandchildren, Caden and Carson Johnson, Madelyn Klein, and Brody and Alex Illa; sisters Hazel Stinson and Corrine Wogan; and sisters-in-law Maxine (Howard) and Helen (Walter) Bakke and Margaret (Clifford) Ramberg.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred; her daughter, Diane; and her siblings Marion Olson, Lyle, Gordon, Howard, and Walter Bakke.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at Rush River Lutheran Church with Pastor Kari Burke-Romarheim officiating. Visitation will begin at the church at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Services have been entrusted to Cashman Hill Funeral Home of River Falls. Memorials preferred to the Rush River Lutheran Church Women's Guild.
Pallbearers are Jeffrey, Scott and Isaac Ramberg, Matthew Klein, Trinity Johnson, and Ryan Illa.
