Monica Krizak, 53

Monica Krizak (Tuomi), Jan. 7, 1958 - Nov. 22, 2011, age 53.

Preceded in death by both parents, Don Tuomi and Dorthy Tuomi.

Survived by children, Andy and Kelly Krizak, three sisters; Debbie Sullivan, Dawn Nylin, Denise Maas; brother, Mike Tuomi; seven nieces and nephews; two great-nieces and -nephew; and loving boyfriend, Joe Brellenthin.

Monica fought a very difficult battle with breast cancer for 2 years and 2 months. With her every step of the journey was Joe, who was caring and uplifting. A special thank you to the Hope Lodge for providing a close place to live during treatments.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at The Servant of the Shepard Church, 103 N. 4th St., River Falls, WI 54022, 715-425-6910, with a light lunch to follow.
