As of midday Tuesday, March 12, the terrier-Labrador mix found on the UW River Falls campus Friday, Charlie, was re-united with his owners.
A Good Samaritan found him early in the morning outside of McMillan Hall and proceeded to try and find his owner working with the Humane Society of Goodhue County. All were hoping to find the caretakers of the 100-pound “super sweet” neutered dog who was well trained to walk on a leash.
Information from the university said Charlie seemed extremely happy to be re-united with his family, who passed along thanks to everyone who helped Charlie get home.
