River Falls’ senior Anna Brettingen strains to complete her lift during the squat competition at the Wisconsin High School Powerlifting Association regional meet at the high school gym Saturday. Brettingen qualified for the girls’ state meet March 2 in Necedah by lifting a total of 760 pounds on the day.
