Governors

Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton (left) and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker used the aging Stillwater, Minn. lift bridge as a backdrop for a press conference Friday afternoon. The governors talked about the cooperation between both Democrats and Republicans, and between Minnesotans and Wisconsinites, that made the proposed new St. Croix River Crossing possible. The bridge project is slated to begin soon, with construction possibily to start in early 2014. The bridge will take about three years to complete once construction begins.
