Bruce Foster, noted historian, outdoorsman, dog groomer, Scout master and arts patron, lived in this house by the Winter/Falls Street Bridge until his death in 2007. He’s a descendent of Joel Foster who’s credited with the founding of River Falls. A grant to demolish the Foster house is expected to clear the way for the building of a community center on that site.
