After 13 years on the job, folks young, old and in between, showed up to bid farewell to children’s librarian Susan Pesheck Feb. 29. Many of those at the reception, held in the public library’s “children’s solarium,” were past and current members of Pesheck’s Storytime Reading groups. Cake and refreshments were served. Pesheck sat with three of her fans, all sisters: Eloise, Eve and Dahlia Olson. The girls’ parents are Alice and Chris Olson. A hiring search is underway for Pesheck’s position at the library.
