New owners of the Lund’s Hardware property began demolishing the buildings on the site just after noon Tuesday, Dec. 20. Minnesota-based grocer Nash Finch bought the property earlier this year, committing to a comprehensive redevelopment of the area and major improvements to the grocery store, which will become a Family Fresh. The area that used to be Lund’s, will become an extension of the Riverside Plaza’s parking lot.
