The hospital’s new robotic technology has attached “endoWrist instruments.” These are controlled by a surgeon who sits comfortably at a console while viewing high-definition, three-dimensional images of the patient’s body. The advantages of this revolutionary technology are smaller incisions, less blood loss, quicker recovery times, minimal scarring, reduced pain, and ultimately greater comfort and safety for the patient.
