Troy Town Board Chairman Ray Knapp shows what the fiberoptic cable looks like as it’s routed from underground to an Optical Network Terminal mounted on the outside of a house. The longer section of the PVC conduit is shown coming out of the ground to the terminal. The shorter section of PVC with the fiberoptic cable then runs into a house. The demonstration board showing this is on display at the inside entrance to Troy Town Hall. Residents can come for a look and get an information packet on the 2011 broadband installation project for Troy.
