Karyn Bye Dietz graduated River Falls High School from in 1989, attended the University of New Hampshire, then earned a spot on the U.S. Women's National Hockey team in 1992, '94, '95 and '96. In 1998, she led the team to its first Olympic gold medal at the winter games in Nagano, Japan.
