The Red Arrow represents the entire 32nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team. The symbol dates back to WWII, when soldiers of the then 32nd Division decided to adopt the red arrow as its shoulder insignia. It symbolizes the division’s piercing of the Hindenburg line and every German line after that until the end of the war.
