Another site visited by Nona Trealoff-Bock was the Simhachalam Temple in Andhra Pradesh, South India. The temple was built for the deity of the same name, and is said to be a lion-man reincarnation of Lord Mahavishnu. Most Hindu temples face east, which, according to religious beliefs brings prosperity. Simhachalam faces west, which is said to bring victory.
