UPDATED: Wildcat soccer clinches first state tourney berth
The Wildcat girls' soccer team earned its first-ever trip to the WIAA State Tournament with a 3-0 victory over D.C. Everest in the sectional final game Saturday afternoon in Wausau. The Cats will open state tourney play against Kimberly in a quarterfinal game at noon Thursday, June 16, at Uihlein Park in Milwaukee. A sendoff for the team is being planned for Wednesday.
