Important message coming from the police chief
At 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, a recorded phone message from Police Chief Roger Leque will be made to those living in the area of an emergency training drill that will shut down most of East Cascade Avenue from 3-9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21. Leque will remind residents that this is training for law enforcement, fire and emergency medical personnel, to avoid the area if possible, and not to be alarmed and call 911.By: Phil Pfuehler, River Falls Journal
