Frey accepts DI hockey scholarship offer

Former River Falls High School hockey star Trent Frey has accepted a scholarship offer from Division I Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa., for the 2010-11 season. Frey, currently the leading goal scorer for the Springfield Junior Blues of the North America Hockey League (NAHL) accepted the offer from Mercyhurst head coach Rick Gotkin after playing in last weekend’s NAHL Top Prospects Tournament.
